'ello! Welcome to my journal. This space is something I use to vent, talk about my fandoms,my life
anything and everything. What? You want to read a bit about me? I thought you would never ask!

Away from my home on the internet I am a Customer Service Representative in a call center for
an insurance company. I am a happily single 33 year old, and the proud "meowmie" to two beautiful tabby cats. You will read a lot
about them.

Trekker is a brown tabby, who has been with me for 15 years, through good and bad. He has a kind soul, and just the way he looks at me makes me happy.He
is by far one of the most personable cats I have ever known,always greeting everyone. When in the mood, he loves to get between me and whatever I am reading.

Samwise Catgee is my lovely silver tabby.
He has been with me for five years He is very funny, always making me smile. He follows me everywhere, loves playing football(soccer,which is not the right word) with his foam football,and always kisses away my tears.

I enjoy Music of all kinds,reading, making graphics (well trying anyway), writing (again, trying to),
surfing the internet, spending time with my friends, drinking a nice pint at our local English
pub, and movies of all sorts.

Spiritually speaking, I recently converted to Paganism. I certainly do not claim to be any sort of
expert on the subject at this point. So far I am studying, and growing each day. It is an amazing journey
and a very personal experience.

I am also a vegetarian of 3 years. I feel it is a part of who I am and so I live my life in the best way I can, by not eating meat and avoiding animal
tested products as much as possible.

I have found that the main
friendships made here on always start out relating to a fandom of some sort. I personally have several,
all dear to my heart.

My first fandoms are my two favorite bands. The Beatles and U2. I have loved The Beatles since I heard the first bars of "She Loves You" when I was 14 years old, and that love is definitely here to stay. John and Paul are my favorites but, it takes all four to make the magic. I prefer their later music from "Rubber Soul" on, but love the early stuff as well. I met a dear friend through Beatle fandom, and share this love with my bestest Beatlefriend too (As well as her and my love for Lord of the Rings.)

U2 started out as a band I was casually into. When "All That You Can't Leave Behind" came out, the
fandom hit and has never left. Their music to me is almost spiritual in many ways, it is very hard to explain.
Bono and The Edge are my favorite members, and I admire Bono for his work and beliefs, even
under criticism.

Lord of the Rings. I loved the books, but when "Fellowship of the Ring" hit the theater it was all over.
I was in hook,line and sinker. It came at a time in my life when I needed it. All of my current group of friends were met
through LOTR fandom, and I have to say these movies changed my life, as silly as it sounds. I collect action
figures as well as other memorabilia. I currently own over 70 LOTR action figures, and am looking
for a few more to round out my collection.
Samwise Gamgee, Frodo Baggins, Meriadoc Brandybuck, and Peregrin Took are my favorite characters.
Although Sam has had the most special place in my heart since I was 18.

My newest fandom. Harry Potter. A casual fan until
I read "The Half Blood Prince". It left me stunned, and questioning things I always believed to be true.
I from that moment on decided to show my secret love for Severus Snape that I had kept hidden for so
many years. As I learn more and more about the Potterverse, the more I love it. Severus Snape is
my favorite character, followed by Remus Lupin. My favorite Hogwart's house is Slytherin.

Last, but not least, South Park. I fell in love with this show shortly before falling into a major depression.
During that dark time,
this show was the only thing that would make me laugh. Not only is it funny, it is also intelligent, and lets us know
"Hey, it is OK to laugh at life." Life is stupid sometimes. I like how they embrace that.
My favorite characters are Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo.

Animal cruelty,Human injustice, torture, hunger and cruelty, racism, hatred,
war, closed minds, rudeness, meat, fur coats, belts etc., authority, bad music, organized religion, televangelist, dishonesty, cooporations, sadness, broken hearts and brussel sprouts.
